Description: 

One of the best old-fashioned apples. Tree consistently produces a medium-sized glossy, green-yellow fruit with a pale red flush; late season. Flesh is juicy, tender, and crisp making it ideal for cider, sauce and baking. . Keeps well and flavor matures in proper storage. Antique variety, originates from New York, circa 1790s. Cold-hardy.  Resistant to scab and rust, but susceptible to mildew and blight.

Fresh, cider, baking, sauce

 

Harvest: 

Ripens in late October.
