Ordering Trees:
What you are buying?
​
We sell trees in either 12L Air pruning pots or Ellepots (See FAQ's) Trees range in size from 90-120cm/3-4feet depending on the variety.
Trees in containers (12litre/pots) can not be dispatched by post. Collection can be arranged from our Market or Nursery location and depending on your location delivery can at times be arranged.
Which provinces do we sell trees to?
We focus on supplying Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island. Other areas (with the exception of B.C) can receive supply information on request.
Who you are buying from?

We are a small family run nursery located in the Annapolis Valley producing sustainably grown, climate hardy, top quality trees and shrubs. It is important to us to make food gardening and landscape trees available at a cost accessible to everyone.
What is the cost involved in cancelling an order?
​
Cancelled orders will be subject to a fee of $50 (plus tax) or 10% (plus tax), which ever is greater.
Eg: The cancellation fee on an order of $700 will incur a $70 fee (plus tax)
About delivery and collection:

Local collection dispatch begin in September through to mid October.
​
Postal dispatch begins in September.
Costs for post and packing via Canada Post for Tree Orders. We can fit up to 8 trees per box. See table below for costs of packing and post. Will include this cost on your confirmation invoice. This service is Canada Post's Expedited Parcel Post.

For example: If you live in New Brunswick and you order 12 trees it will require two packing boxes at $100 each a total postage cost of $200

Ordering Rootstocks:
What you are buying?
​
We sell bare rooted, fully dormant rootstocks for grafting your own varieties. We offer two categories of rootstocks: Grafting, which can be bench grafted immediately. Liners are rootstock which will need to be grown on to be budded the following summer or grafted the following winter. Please call 902-526-4731 if you need any clarification on this.
We ship rootstocks packed with moist recycled newspaper to be sure the roots won't dry out. Re-cycled plastic is used to wrap rootstocks which are then boxed prior to shipping.
Rootstocks have their tops removed to approximately 450mm in length (including the root section) for ease of handling.

About delivery and collection

Our dispatch runs from mid April to mid May each year. Roostocks are fully dormant.
We use a variety of carriers to dispatch orders. Delivery usually takes 5-7 days once dispatched.
Costs for post and packing Rootstock Orders within the Maritimes:
10-50 Rootstocks: $35
60-100 Rootstocks: $50
110-200 Rootstocks: $65

For orders over 200 rootstocks and orders from provinces outside the Maritimes you can either phone 902-526-4731 or email for a shipping cost. If you would like to place your order and make payment for the rootstocks please choose 'Request Shipping Invoice' in the shipping section and email or call for a shipping invoice. Please include your order number.
If you’re in our local area you are welcome to collect your order by appointment from our field nursery in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.

There a flat cost of $35 for packing and postage of growing and grafting supplies.
