Description:
New weeping form of Japanese Maple that has golden yellow foliage. This selection was found as a chance seedling from 'Ryusen'. Like it’s parent it is heavily weeping. Bright yellow foliage throughout Spring and Summer turning to a stunning golden in Autumn. The leaves are fully palmate instead of the traditionally lacy leaves of most weeping Japanese maples. The leaves of 'Golden Falls' are golden yellow with orange trim and very attractively star shaped. Can be grown as a ground cover in a rockery or staked to your desired height and let cascade.  Best grown in a shady location where it gets morning sun but is shaded from the heat of the afternoon sun.
