Description:
Found as a chance seedling in the Loire Valley of Western France this is a Heritage Variety included in the National Fruit Collection at Brogdale, UK. Large fruit with reddish russetting. Cream flesh with fine grain sweet tart crisp flesh with hints of aniseed. It turns color slowly when exposed to the air.
