Description:
Originated in New Zealand in the 1920's. Royal Gala is a sport that has been selected, mostly for increased red color. These apples are mildly sweet with a distinctive juicy crunch making it great for snacking. Gala has a distinctive yellowish-orange skin marked by red stripes. Very widely cultivated as commercial crop it’s a favourite around the world.
