Description:

Bred in Kentville 1950. A Macoun and New York Red Spy cross. Bright red apple with subtle acidity and juicy crisp flesh. Aromatic.

 

Uses:

 Mainly used for fresh eating and keeps quite well in cold storage.  Also a good baking apple.

 

Harvest:

Late September/ Early October
