Semi Dwarf Apple Rootstock. Very cold hardy (as compared to aything in the EMLA range) and semi-vigorous. Varieties grafted onto 'Ottawa 3A' will grow to 45-55% of standard height and requires support.
We offer two sizes or thicknesses:
Grafting grade which can be grafted straight away once received. Due to very wet conditions production numbers were lower this year.
Liner grade which can be planted out and grown on for summer chip budding or grafting the following Spring. If you need clarification of this please ask.
