St. Julien is a valuable rootstock for cold areas that experience fluctuating spring temperatures. Very cold hardy and semi-vigorous. Trees grafted onto St. Julien will grow to 75% of standard height.
We offer two sizes or thicknesses:
Grafting grade which can be grafted straight away once received. Due to very wet conditions production numbers were lower this year.
Liner grade which can be planted out and grown on for summer chip budding or grafting the following Spring. If you need clarification of this please ask.
