Verity is a late season dual purpose plum raised at the Horticultural Research Institute, Vineland Station, Ontario, Canada in 1931. It was introduced in 1967
 Verity has medium sized oval fruit with bluish-purple blush. It has soft juicy deep yellow flesh and a clinging stone. It is a sweet plum.
Uses: 
It can be used both as a dessert and culinary plum
 
Harvest: 
 The fruit hangs well on the tree until late September.
