'Whitcomb Cherry' Prunus subhirtella 'Whitcomb'

Description: 

One of the earliest cherries to flower in the Spring.  Single bell shaped flowers opening strong rose pink changing to soft pink. Strongly horizontal growth habit.

 

Special features:  

Masses of soft pink single flowers in Spring, orange and red Autumn colour.

 

Tree size* at 10 years:

9ft tall by 15 ft wide. (Approx 3m x 5m)

Cold Hardiness and Cherries.

All the varieties of cherries we grow are hardy to zone 5.  Please be aware that extremely cold temperatures can damage flower buds and thus winters that fall below -25C cherries may have very few flowers if any.
