'Wolf River'

Description:

Produces huge apples. Keeps its shape in pies. In pie contests it was said 'one apple one pie'. Interesting history from 'Alexander' found by a farmer in the 1860's. Exceptonally cold hardy. Excellent resistence to scab and mildew.

Cortland, Gala, McIntosh, Cripp's Pink

 

White flowering crabapples are also good pollinisers for this variety.
